SCCC 134: Parkinson’s Disease

Course Significance:
This first-hand presentation by a person with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) will give you a unique perspective on the symptoms of PD and how they can impact a person’s life. A list of useful resources for those with PD and their caregivers is included. The course will also give you tips on recognizing early symptoms of the disease, how those around someone with PD can help and types of PD treatments (and their side effects).
