The Human Development Institute (HDI) is committed to making hdilearning.org accessible to all people, including individuals with disabilities. We aim to provide an inclusive learning experience that supports dignity, independence, and equal access.
Our Commitment
We work to ensure our website and online courses meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We apply Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to support a wide range of learners and abilities.
Accessibility Features
- Clear, consistent navigation and page structure
- Text alternatives for images and non-text content
- Captions or transcripts for multimedia when available
- Keyboard-accessible navigation
- Color contrast that supports readability
An accessibility menu is available on each page to help adjust display settings based on your needs. While these tools may improve usability, they do not replace built-in accessibility features or assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review and update our content to improve usability and address barriers. Some materials may not yet fully meet accessibility standards, especially older content or third-party resources. We are actively working to improve these areas.
