Week 4 – Unfamiliar Task Based Exploration
Welcome to Week 4 of the Customized Employment Training Program! This week begins Stage 2 of Discovery, focusing on planning and implementing unfamiliar experiences that allow the jobseeker to explore new environments and tasks.
You will learn how to plan two to three unfamiliar experiences for the upcoming implementation weeks and field logistics to ensure smooth, supported participation. A key focus this week is learning to support without doing, allowing the jobseeker to take the lead and reveal authentic strengths and preferences.
Use this week to learn how to prepare thoughtfully, consider supports carefully, and reflect on how your planning aligns with Discovery principles.
