SETP Logo (SETP stands for Supported Employment Training Project)

Welcome to the Employment and Retention program training, which is designed specifically to equip employment specialists with the knowledge and skills needed to support individuals in obtaining and maintaining competitive, integrated employment. As a Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP) provider, this course will guide you through aspects of the E&R process.

In this course, you will learn about the fundamental principles that define successful E&R employment outcomes, including consumer-centered approaches that honor individual strengths, preferences, and informed choices. You’ll explore the specific roles and responsibilities of CRPs with an emphasis on collaboration, documentation, and compliance with E&R program requirements.

Through detailed modules, interactive assignments, real-world case studies, and quizzes, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of:

  • Employment criteria and integrated settings
  • Essential documentation and reporting protocols
  • Fee schedules, milestone payments, and bonus incentives
  • Service delivery best practices

The goal is to empower you to confidently navigate the E&R program, facilitate effective partnerships, and ultimately contribute to the meaningful employment and retention of the individuals you serve. By the end of this course, you will be prepared to implement best practices that help consumers secure competitive jobs that are sustainable and rewarding.

Thank you for doing this important work. Let’s get started on building a stronger foundation for employment success!
