Learning Objectives:
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
·      Describe the goal of active listening
·      Describe what active listening is
·      Recognize active listening techniques
·      Determine when to use active listening techniques

Course Significance:
The seniors we deal with come to us from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. It is easy to make assumptions about them that often turn out to be wrong. To prevent misunderstandings and provide the best services possible, we should actively listen to the people we are serving. Using the techniques in this course will help us to do that.
