Valued Life Experience 2: Contributing

Contribution by discovering, developing, and giving one’s gifts and investing their energy in meaningful activities.  Too often people with disabilities experience low expectations and are seen as service recipients instead of citizens and valued community members.

Let’s go back to Morgan. His previous work opportunities had only been with people with disabilities, but now he was a valued part of a team and has relationships with people with and without disabilities.
