My name is Julie Halitzka, I’m the new Training Coach for Salt River Region.
I’m happily married 14 years to my husband George. I actually live in Jefferson County near downtown, and my church is in Oldham County.
I have taught in center based care as a Lead Teacher, as well as working in several children’s fitness centers as a Lead Teacher and Director, my center was an LDC last spring, and I worked in a school age NTI childcare from last August until a few weeks ago. I’m currently certified as a Level 4 Trainer, but am 2 weeks away from finishing a Masters of Science in Early Childhood Studies, which will let me move up to Level 5. 🙂
I have LOTS of technical background in addition to my early childhood experience, including in web development, online course development, audio and video recording, livestreaming events, and hosting live events. My husband runs an educational theatre company.
I am a paid worship leader at my church: I am primarily a vocalist, but also mix sound for the livestream, and run the handbell choir.
I’m super excited to be getting started with Child Care Aware! 🙂
