Covid 19 Pandemic Office Procedures
DAIL, at the direction of CHFS and the Personnel Cabinet, implemented several office procedures during the pandemic to maintain the health, safety and welfare of employees, clients, and provider agencies.
These procedures included:
- work from home and 24/7 work schedules,
- virtual meetings and communication via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Face Time, webinars, phone calls, etc.

Staff were required to follow all pandemic related policies and procedures.
The policy changes impacted guardianship face to face and in-person facility visits, travel, court appearances and meetings. New staff will be advised by their supervisor on any pandemic related policies that may be in effect.
