Department for Aging and Independent Living
Department for Aging and Independent Living – Provides services to help older Kentuckians and their families through a statewide network of local, private and public agencies.
Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities
Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities – Provides quality information, services and support for individuals with needs related to mental illness, intellectual disability or other developmental disability and their families.
Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs
Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs – Plans, develops, provides and evaluates the public system of care for children with special health care needs. Serves children with physical disabilities from birth to age 21 through on-site and off-site clinics, therapies and related services.
Department for Community Based Services
Department for Community Based Services – Administers child protection and permanency and family support programs including adoption, child abuse, child care, child support, SNAP food benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly food stamps) and foster care.
Department for Family Resource Centers and Volunteer Services
Department for Family Resource Centers and Volunteer Services – Includes Division of Family Resource and Youth Services Centers and Kentucky Commission on Community Volunteerism and Service.
Office of Health Data and Analytics
Office of Health Data and Analytics – The Office of Health Data and Analytics was created in 2018. The Office includes four divisions and a Cabinet-wide Privacy Program: Division of Health Benefit Exchange, Division of Health Administration, Division of Analytics, Division of Telehealth Services, and CHFS Privacy Program. The OHDA Reports, data analyses and public data sets are available upon request from the Division of Analytics.
Department for Income Support
Department for Income Support – Consists of Disability Determinations Services and Child Support Enforcement.
Department for Medicaid Services
Department for Medicaid Services – Purchases quality healthcare and related services that produce positive outcomes for persons eligible for programs administered by the department.
Department for Public Health
Department for Public Health – Develops and operates all public health programs and activities for the citizens of Kentucky including health service programs for the prevention, detection, care and treatment of physical disabilities, illness and disease. Office of the Secretary
Office of the Secretary – provides programs, services and supports that protect and promote the health and well-being of all Kentuckians and their communities. Programs and services under the OS include: Office of Administrative Services, Office of Application Technology Services, Office of Finance and Budget, Office of Human Resource Management, Office of Inspector General, Office of Legal Services, Office of Public Affairs, and Office of the Ombudsman and Administrative Review.
