Write down two strengths, abilities, or soft skills your son or daughter has. Then imagine a job your son or daughter has or might enjoy and how those soft skills could transform into work skills for that job. For example, if your son or daughter is interested in animals and has the soft skills of being gentle with animals and following directions, perhaps they could work as a grooming assistant at a horse stable and develop the work skills of brushing the horses and cleaning equipment.
