  • Consider the individual’s needs for one month at a time, not one or two weeks at a time. For example, if it is reasonable to expect that the individual will need assistance paying for housing for a short period of time, request the amount they will need for one month, not two weeks.

NOTE: If a request other than housing is needed for multiple months, a new request should be submitted for each month.

  • If the request is urgent, contact the Fiduciary Branch supervisors to make them aware of the need to expedite the request and overnight the check. If overnight delivery is required, Fiduciary Branch staff will need a physical address for delivery, not a P.O. Box, so that a signature confirmation can be obtained.
