An individual must meet all of the following criteria to be potentially eligible for Medicaid:
- The individual must be a resident of the state of Kentucky.
- The individual must be a U.S. Citizen or meet eligible immigrant requirements.
- The individual must be able to verify their identity.
- The individual must apply for all statutory benefits they may be entitled to receive.
MAGI MA eligibility is determined by one of the following four categories:
Children under 19
Pregnant women
Parents and caretaker relatives
Low-income adults aged 19 to 64
Low-income adults aged 19-64 is the most commonly used eligibility category for individuals under guardianship.
