What they are not: For this course, the term KY Standards does not apply to occupational standards set by professional organizations such as ASHA, or Boards of Licensure for OT or PT providers, or the competency standards for First Steps. They are NOT personnel standards, service coordination standards, or discipline-specific standards for First Steps providers. Those standards are important to your work in First Steps; however, they are not the topic of this course.
