Topic 3: Timeframes & expectations for PCJS and OVR

• Receive authorization from OVR Counselor to begin PCJS process
• Document each activity/meeting on the “PCEP Activity Note”
• You must spend a MINIMUM of 10 hours acting with or on behalf of the job seeker in PCJS

“On behalf of” means talking with others specifically to gain insight on the job seeker (ie. former teachers, friends, family, case managers, church members, etc.)

Best practice states average is around 20-24 hours. 10 in just the minimum.

• PCEP (Person Centered Employment Plan) submitted to VR Counselor within 75 days of authorization
• PCEP should be submitted within 2 weeks of last PCEP Activity Note
• Turn into OVR along with an invoice for $1000

Remember – These notes reflect how you are getting to know the individual in various aspects of their life. Each activity/note should build off information previously learned. This PCEP should reflect all that you’ve learned about the individual and be a plan to guide Job Development
